Children were sent home with order forms
Please have students bring in his/her order form before Thursday!
As October is approaching, we want to make sure you are informed of some important dates for the next few months, all that have the need for volunteer support.
October 5th we will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner at the school. Your students will be sent home with a stack of tickets to sell to family members and friends very soon. We are looking for the support of some volunteers at this event to assist with setup, tear down and of course the preparation of the meal itself.
November 2nd will be our annual Harvest Party and Pie Auction. This event is so much fun and we are hoping you mark your calendars now to make sure you don’t miss out on this fabulous family event. Volunteer opportunities for this event include set up, tear down, auction helpers for the pie auction and of course helping with the harvest games. We will also be seeking donations of pies and plates of baked goods for the auction itself as well as submissions for our annual chili contest.
November 12th is our annual Veterans Day Breakfast. Each year we keep school open and take the opportunity to honor our local veterans with breakfast right at the school. This day begins with breakfast being served at 7am which means we need early support to cook the eggs and sausage so that it is ready to serve to those who attend.
Sign up sheets for Volunteers will be in the office next week.
We are so looking forward to each of these events, and we know that because of your support they will all be successes. We can’t thank you enough for how much you support the fundraising events and community outreach projects here at OCA.
We could never reach our goals without you and your families!

As the Director of Programming, Liz will be coordinating a variety of programs at OCA including Fundraising, Admissions, External Relations, Events, Communication and more. You will be hearing from her a lot as she keeps you informed of the many family focused and fundraising events at the school this year. Have an idea for an event? She would love to hear it, so stop in to the administrative office and say hello!
All too often our morning schedules can be a bit chaotic. Finding a pair of socks, making sure homework is put in backpacks, getting in the car and making sure all your children are accounted for.
Everything seems to be going smoothly when someone from the back seat says "Wait, I forgot my lunch!"
You know it's to late to turn around, so what are you to do?
OCA has you covered!
Students can purchase the following items in the school office:
Mac & Cheese $1.75
Ramen Soup $.75
Granola Bar $.50
FlavorCracker Pack $.50
Pizza is available for purchase every Friday
1 Slice Cheese Pizza $2.00
1 Slice Pepperoni Pizza $2.50
We encourage parents to stop by the school office and add funds to your child's lunch account.
Parents should have filled out our school permission forms when registering. This form included an option to give students permission to purchase food items at school. A copy of the permission form is attached below if needed.
